For Sale: 1997 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 in Old Lyme, Connecticut for sale in Old Lyme, CT
Vehicle Description VERY RARE 1997 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 with newly rebuilt engine to factory OEM specs (minus evo blow-off valve).
Original odometer is 128k.
This car runs as new.
The interior is flawless and is black leather.
There were only around 200 made in 1997 with red exterior and black leather interior.
The majority are tan interior so this is SUPER RARE!! The engine is newly rebuilt by the person I bought the car from.
It's super clean and has very low miles as the pictures show.
I did the 120k service when I got it just to be safe so it has new timing, pumps, filters, etc.
It has also been lowered slightly with coilovers to look more modern, but I have the original springs and shocks in a box.
I also have some new OEM interior parts that go with the car.
Everything works as new including the all wheel drive and all wheel steering, and sunroof.
I can send videos to show upon request.
This is $35,000 as it is very rare and looks like new, but has minor trim paint needed.
A top 1997 VR4 would be well over $60k and an excellent version is over $38k.
The value of this car has doubled since I bought it as Japanese supercars of the late 1990s are great investments! Please reach out if you want to do a FaceTime with the car.

I'm not happy about getting rid of it, but have 2 young kids and not much time to enjoy it.
It's been garaged it's whole life and it wants to be driven.
It does need a little clear coat touch up in the rear and some black trim paint touch up, but super minor stuff.
